The official website of Ginatilan, Cebu is undergoing renovation!

The website, which can be accessed thru www.ginatilan.gov.ph, is being hosted by the Central Visayas Information Sharing Network (CVISNet).  It is designed using the lates in open source technology.

Inambacan Falls:  If one has to unwind and relax, the soothing and cool Inambacan waterfalls is a haven.  situated in Barangay Calabawan, the 3-level falls is must-see for nature lovers and trekkers.

Millennium Park:  The twillight converging zone of old and young Ginatilanons and sojourners alike where they relax and take a break, savor and feel the sea breeze, view the ethereal beauty of sundown after the day's toils and hardships.

Lighthouse: One of the few lighthouses in the entire Province of Cebu, erected by the Department of Transportation and Communications to aid seafarers and navigators at night.

New Municipal Building: Was built in 2000 during the term of Mayor Antonio O. Singco.

Municipal Auditorium: This Sydney Opera inspired municipal stage stands with pride showcasing the ingenuity of the Ginatilanons.

 

Ginatilan Marine Sanctuary: Was etablished to safeguard and protect the coral reef system which serves as habitat, breeding and nursery ground for fish and marine organism, preventing the constant physical disturbance, in order to allow coral reef fishes and other marine organisms to reproduce and grow to maturity; with unhampered reproduction purposely to increase the number of larvae; to grow into juvenile and mature fishes, and to circulate within the Marine Sanctuary and in the traditional fishing areas and eventually increase the potential of fish catch of local fisherfolks.

Located in Sitio Guilungsuran, Barangay Poblacion and was declared a Municipal Sanctuary last Febuary 1, 2006.
