Page 1 of 6 The Local Sangguniang Bayan (SB) is mandated to lend support to the Municipal Mayor in terms of enacting Ordinances and approving local resolutions and appropriate funds for the general welfare of the municipality. The SB is similarly charged with the proper exercise of the corporate powers of the municipality. In the case of Ginatilan, the Municipal Mayor and the SB have been active in the execution of its mandated duties and responsibilities. In addtion, local executive offices, to a large extent, have been playing a vital role in the execution of these duties and responsiblities.
